The contents of this blog may raise eyebrows among health care practitioners who would undersign the absolute need of periodic cleansing and fasting. While the benefits of dietary cleanses have their roots even in ancient cultures, there is a decent amount of research covering pros and cons which may be interesting to explore. At the same time and finalizing this observation, let us explore how detoxification, just as all body functions, are driven by energy, to be exact, assisted by the magnetic field of the earth.

juiceJoining Brent Bauer, director of Mayo Clinic’s Integrative Medicine Program, documented by Peg Rosen, it will be fascinating to learn about the body’s own cleansing tricks, especially if fruit and vegetable meets your gusto. From fasts to flushes, many of us will do whatever it takes to cleanse our body of toxins. But what if we don’t have to do anything at all? Needless to say we all understand the motivation behind the desire to “cleanse”, subsisting for days on green shakes, highly restrictive diets, or even plain water to rid the body of impurities. “It’s tempting to think you can do something to clear out what’s built up in your body”, Bauer says. “People spend a lot of money on products or regiments that supposedly do this”. As far as he is concerned there is just one catch: “I’ve yet to have a single patient who can provide any evidence that a ‘detox’ actually cleared toxins from their system or, for that matter, tell me exactly what toxins they were worried about in the first place.”

There is no question that toxins (chemicals or microorganisms from within the body or from the outside) can make us ill or otherwise do us harm. But there is little research to support the notion that any attempt to “detox” from them – unless they are addictive substances like drugs or alcohol – is effective or even necessary. The fact is, the human body does a decent job of scrubbing itself clean all on its own. Our liver, kidneys, lungs, and skin exist in large part to filter out impurities, eliminating them in sweat, urine, breath, and feces. The human body just doesn’t host big amounts of built-up waste, as anybody who has ever peered into a colonoscopy will confirm. Bacteria in the colon neutralize food waste, and the organ’s mucous lining prevents potentially harmful organisms and waste products from seeping back into our system. And while some toxins are absorbed by fat cells – where they can take up permanent residence – there is little evidence to suggest that fasting, sweating, drinking special potions, or flushing will cast them out.

Nevertheless, cleansing is once again in the limelight. Fasting has its health benefits and may even slow down brain aging according to expert nutritionists. Periodic fasting, as suggested by the American College of Cardiology, may also trigger changes in metabolism that lower the risk of coronary heart disease and diabetes. However, we are talking about a cumulative effect here, as taught in the Intermountain Heart Institute in Salt Lake City. “Fasting a couple of times isn’t going to do the same thing.” The promises that some juice fasts and fasting books make are unrealistic.

Purveyors of traditional juice fasts, food-based detox diets, liver flushes, colon cleansing may sound very impressive. But think about it: These fasts and diets by definition restrict caloric intake and specifically exclude processed foods, caffeine, alcohol, fatty animal protein and excess sodium. What health professional would argue with that regimen? If you feel good on these fasts, it’s probably because of what you are not consuming.“My clients often come in telling me they want to do a cleanse to get back on track”, says Andrea Giancoli, a spokeswoman for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics “But why not just do something that gets you on the track and allows you to stay there? If you really want to do a cleanse, cleanse your fridge and your pantry” -☺

Members of this website may already have or are still about to discover in detail why and how pulsating electromagnetic fields (PEMF) will naturally improve all biological functions and metabolic activity, INCLUDING BODILY CLEANSING. Due to increased lymphatic drainage and blood flow, cells receive more oxygen and nutrients, and eliminate toxins by far more effectively. Cells are therefore able to function better and tissues repair themselves more efficiently.  Through the same process, vital organs such as liver, kidneys and colon are able to rid themselves of impurities, thus detoxifying the body, which results in better organ functionality. Nevertheless, should you desire to become a cleansing fan and choose a massive prolonged fast, please refrain from magnetic resonance stimulation (MRS) during that time.  However, by all means, take advantage of MRS thereafter and benefit from its regulatory, balancing and energizing effect, experiencing your body “renewed”.

As a matter of fact, magnetic resonance stimulation (MRS) can be tailored to your individual health and wellness needs:

  • Improving circulation and immune system function
  • Activating cellular metabolism and repair
  • Promoting relaxation and detoxification
  • Providing optimal over all vitality and much more

STAY WELL -☺
