Oxygen is one of the most important elements required to sustain life. Without it, our health begins to suffer. All metabolic processes in the body are regulated by oxygen.  Our brain processes billions of bits of information each second.  The Salk Institute, La Jolla, CA shows that improved oxygen can generate new brain cells in adults.  Even our abilities to think, feel and act require oxygen-related energy production. Sufficient oxygen helps the body in its ability to rebuild itself and maintain a strong and healthy immune system. The vast majority of cellular functions depend on an adequate supply of oxygen.

Whether from improper breathing, poor diets, air pollution, or lack of exercise, our cells are unfortunately being deprived of this vital element, lessening our natural life-support.

We are indeed breathing machines and must have oxygen constantly or we will perish!  However, most people are shallow breathers. They get oxygen in the upper regions of the lungs but seldom get sufficient oxygen into the deep lower regions of the lungs. Deep breathing constantly cleanses and purifies the body. When we exhale, we breathe out toxins and carbon dioxide, which must be eliminated. Deep breathing is the most important function in raising the body to its highest potential and vitality.

Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields (PEMF), to be exact, magnetic resonance stimulation (MRS) can become the most valuable partner in achieving higher oxygen utilization.

HELPFUL HINT:  While resting on the mat, relax and try to slowly inhale through your nose occasionally.  Avoid to move the upper chest or the abdominal region. If you are breathing correctly, you can feel your lower ribs expand. Now take in a long deep breath. When you feel that your lungs are filled to full capacity with air, slowly expel the breath with a sigh.
