Info-graphic of how Magnetic Fields affect us

Can We Sense Magnetic Fields?

This question cannot be answered definitively because only a very small percentage of people seem to perceive magnetic fields directly. The Austrian scientist and physician, Dr. Walter Glueck, MD,  humorously states:  “The earth’s magnetic field can be compared to health, we only feel it, once it is lost”.

As a rule, magnetic fields, whether harmonious or harmful, cannot be perceived with the senses; in other words, we can neither hear nor see them, smell nor taste them, and in most cases we cannot even feel them directly.  Staying within the realm of energy medicine, “sensing” magnetic fields must not be confused with perceptions a patient may have during a magnetic field therapy.  Feeling warm at certain body parts which are considered “weak spots” (specific health issues) may occur due to increased circulation.  Tingling in the hands and feet represents another commonly reported sensation.  The occurrence of a slight increase in heartbeat is very rare and usually contributed to some anxiety and fear of an unfamiliar treatment method. Applying magnetic resonance stimulation, the patient usually perceives a “warm fuzzy” feeling caused by deep relaxation and a balanced autonomic nervous system.

40-50% of the patients initially feel nothing during the first treatment

40% feel pleasant warmth

10% feel tingling or other sensations

70-75% feel loosening of back and neck muscles after treatment

These sensations are not due to a direct perception of the magnetic field, but instead are caused by changes in the body which occur during the treatment. If a patient “senses” nothing during magnetic resonance stimulation, only indicates that the magnetic field is having its effect without any outward signs.  Skeptics may need to be convinced by dark field microscopy (blood samples) proving that magnetic field therapy has an immediate effect on the body whether they believe it or not.

Even though invisible, the existence and influence of the earth’s magnetic field on nature and every living organism has been observed and studied for thousands of years. Modern science has also long agreed that no life could exist on our planet without its magnetic field. With its multi-layered protective shield, the magnetic field prevents harmful radiation penetrating to the surface of the earth.  In other words, it surrounds and protects us.

It may be interesting to learn that numerous animals from the animal kingdom find their direction by using the earth’s magnetic field.  Similar behavior has been observed in migratory birds (storks and others), ants, termites, beetle, bees, and many marine animals such as sharks, whales and turtles.  In 1998, scientists at the University of Frankfurt succeeded in proving for the first time that the remarkable homing behavior of pigeons (carrier pigeons) can be attributed to the earth’s magnetic field.  Their strong sense of directions is explained by the fact that these birds sense the earth’s magnetic field with the help of very small magnetic crystals in their beaks.

Human beings, like all living organisms, are influenced by the earth’s magnetic field and over the course of evolution have also developed such fine magnetite crystals in the brain, and in particular in the ear. This may assist our sense of orientation.  The influence of even very small magnetic fields on the human body is best demonstrated by the phenomenon of weather sensitivity, where the human body reacts even to the smallest change in magnetic fields.

As covered in detail in one of our educational website pages, 75 Trillion cells understand each other and function via electromagnetic impulses. Interestingly, the magnetic field of the heart is 5,000 times more powerful than the magnetic filed of the brain, reaching out several feet from our bodies.  The heart’s powerful magnetic field may explain why “heart cancer” is non-existing, while other cells may lose their electrical voltage due to man-made, totally contradictory, high magnetic fields which increase the risk of illness.

Summarizing:  Even though magnetic resonance stimulation can not be felt in most cases, its gentle power has long been demystified and scientifically proven.  Applying magnetic resonance stimulation (MRS) represents an “invisible hug” by Mother Earth, regarded as the SILENT HEALER.
