Osteopenia and Arthritis Testimonial

Osteopenia is a condition in which bone mineral density is lower than normal. It is considered by many doctors to be a precursor to osteoporosis.  However, not every person diagnosed with osteopenia will develop osteoporosis. More specifically, osteopenia is defined as a bone mineral density T-score between -1.0 and -2.5.

LUCRETIA’S STORY OF DAD

“Some GREAT NEWS… I saved my Dad’s life so to speak!  Long story, but Dad thought, at 85, he needed a hip transplant as he could barely walk as his right leg was in such pain for weeks.  When he finally got to see the doctor who reviewed his x-rays, he said no need for a hip transplant, his hip was fine but perhaps he had a pinched nerve in his lower back causing the leg pain.  Sure enough the x-ray showed osteopenia and arthritis and he wanted to inject cortisone into my Dad’s lower back, a drug known to cause bones to dissolve and it causes blindness.  The doctor knew nothing about PEMF therapy or prolozone.  Luckily my Dad had been on the mat a few times before we went to see the doctor and commented to me that morning that he definitely was in less pain.  He then decided not to go with the doctor’s suggestion.  He is now using the mat consistently when he comes to town and is  already doing much better – no more cane!   I love these personal success stories!”
