Magnetic Resonance Stimulation

Research published in the Journal of Cell Biology indicates that pulsed magnetic fields influence the cell not only at the outer cell membrane, but also influence DNA synthesis by changing the velocity of the electrons within the double helix. I converted the meter-per-second signaling velocities reported in this paper and they translate to 232,000 miles-per-hour. That’s FASTER than the speed of light! (It’s called “ultrahigh speed” electron stimulation.) The result is that protein synthesis is increased. Cyto protective enzyme reaction rates are also in creased. This all happens non-thermally (without heat production) so the body does not perceive these enhancements during treatment. These effects all take place with low frequency electromagnetic fields between 3 and 60 Hertz – – again, the greatest effects hover around 8 Hertz.
In plain English, wound healing is enhanced because protein folding takes place. Denatured proteins are 1 – and 2-dimensional. A protein does not function unless it folds into the third plane. As a result of stimulation with pulsed electromagnetic fields, protein start RE-FOLDING into a 3-dimensional conformation (have you ever heard of such a thing?!!) and are BROUGHT BACK into useful function. Now that’s cool! (This means less cell death, less dead tissue, and more incorporation of existing protein AND newly synthesized proteins into the healing area.)
The author of this paper, from Columbia University – – the departments of pathology and physiology – – suggesting that PRE-SURGICAL treatment with pulsed magnetic fields would be extremely beneficial, particularly in longer surgeries where lots of cell death was anticipated. They also recommended INTRAOPERATIVE applications of pulsed magnetic field therapy for longer surgeries because protein synthesis can be enhanced without delivering heat to the body. Their primary application was envisioned for open heart surgeries and the like.
We learned that the MRS 2000/iMRS targets cells best between 0.5 and 15 Hertz – so we’re spot on with our technology.
So why does trochanteric bursitis heal faster? Why does Achilles tendonitis respond to the probe so well? Why do patients with disc herniations do better, faster with incorporating the MRS? And why – the heck does the MRS do something for compartment syndrome when standard physical therapy and modalities failed miserably?
There is no possible way to ever assimilate all the literature that is being published in this area. Nevertheless, you will learn a smattering of it at many offered seminars and workshops.
